is there any data exchange program available. As a city we get fairly early data on subdivisions in our jurisdiction that can be provided regionaly as well as for our own production
Shelley Broyles
01:01:46
Sorry Zach! I accidentally left you on the agenda!

Are you aware of any cities that have already created ordinances regarding the placement of helistops?
Toar Schell
01:26:55
is the turnaround time from collection to production in rapidly developing areas for highly accurate data even feasible? it seems theres a lot of data that needs massaging?

Does Arlington have public transportation, was this a factor?
Toar Schell
02:08:43
if no internet then I would think it would be limited

Thank you!

02:13:09
this seemed like a data heavy project - any particular challenges that you'd like to share?

02:40:27
Woo hoo!
Toar Schell
02:43:46
is Hub part of Portal or is it priced separately?
Kathleen Clancy - Esri (she/her)
02:44:17
@Toar - ArcGIS Hub is only part of ArcGIS Online, in Portal you have ArcGIS Enterprise Sites
Olesya Powers
02:44:18
It's part of Enterprise Toar
Toar Schell
02:44:46
ok Thanks.
Kathleen Clancy - Esri (she/her)
02:45:37
ArcGIS Enterprise Sites is a sister product to ArcGIS Hub, the open data capabilities are the same, the difference is that ArcGIS Enterprise Sites does not have the Premium capabilities of Hub for the public to follow and engage through the Site

Shelley Broyles
04:33:01
Good one!
Tim Nolan
04:44:38
How well does EnerGov handle reoccurring annual permits?
Toar Schell
04:45:58
Pretty well. you can set dates for a particular permit or inspection (fire inspections for example) and then it generates a schedule.
Tim Nolan
04:48:03
Hey Toar - Is that a new feature?
Tim Nolan
04:49:42
Gini - Can you make your model more granular if necessary or is that a beating?
Tim Nolan
04:49:56
Zzzzz….
Toar Schell
04:50:27
not that I know of, I know our fire inspections once complete, set a date automatically for 1 year. which then shows up one year later as one that comes up as a workorder.
Brian Jones
04:50:35
Does Hurst have plans to use Tyler software for Utility Billing? We at Farmers Branch are kicking off Tyler UB right now so I'm looking for people to bounce questions off of.
Ramon Campos
04:51:41
Thanks!
Ravi Devulapalli
04:51:45
Does your Dispatch maintain a separate address point layer or feed off of what you maintain?
Toar Schell
04:52:20
FYI City of Mesquite has fully implemented Energov, so if anyone has questions feel free to reach out.
Jordan Carmona
04:53:26
sounds like we need an Energov / Tyler show-and-tell-meeting; Prosper would be super interested
Shelley Broyles
04:58:54
If anyone else wants to speak during Q&A, let us know :)
Tim Nolan
05:09:18
Quick questions for Jordan - How did Jordan become so awesome?
Toar Schell
05:09:34
he shaved his head.
Olesya Powers
05:11:39
yes but that's nothing compared to your wise wizard look Toar
Tim Nolan
05:16:26
Adding Toar to my awesome people list.
Toar Schell
05:18:34
@Jordan, It looks like this comes down fast enough not to need to filter by date so that you can overwrite any current data without having to filter by date -- is this the case?
Toar Schell
05:21:13
kinda just anwered my question.

For context: Geomarine had two Spark 2s (gis computers at $12k each and 1 silicon graphics machine at 30k) to do GIS processing. you can get an equivalent machine now for less than 3k.
